Ready to "unearth" your new favorite hobby? Join us for a prehistoric spa day as part of our 2026 Adult Summer Reading Program: Plant a Seed & Unearth a Story. We're mixing high-end relaxation with a touch of Jurassic fun in this hands-on workshop. Patrons who register will have the opportunity to do two crafts!
1. Dino-Mite Discovery Soaps: Channel your inner archeologist by embedding mini dinosaur "fossils" into clear glycerin soap bars. You’ll learn the art of melt-and-pour soap making, complete with custom scents and colors.
2. "Sweet Earth" Brown Sugar Scrubs: Scrub away the workday with a luxurious, all-natural exfoliator. We’ll be mixing rich brown sugar with nourishing coconut oil to create a scrub that smells like a dream and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth.
Whether you’re a DIY enthusiast or just looking for a "rawrsome" way to spend an afternoon, this event is the perfect treat for your skin and your shelf. All materials are provided—just bring your creativity!
